Surubí.

The week: Bienvenidos Cold Weather.  It´s been in like the 60s and 70s during the day, (if I had to guess)  which is rather enjoyable.  But nights and mornings have become a bit chilly.  You can see your breath, now.  I realized that I should have asked for homemade Hot Chocolate Mix in my package that could be getting here anytime now...  The only problem with sending it now is that I´d probably receive it in two to three months(aka all of winter).  So maybe you could send me the recipe and I can do a couple test runs!

The week was the National Festival of the Surubí (Catfish), here in Goya.  Thousands of fishermen swarmed Goya for this weeks festivities.  International fishermen came, as well.  I imagine that a few thousand spectators also came into town for the occasion.   The climax of it all is when over 800 motorboats set sail onto the river.  Literally, the entire city went to all posible shorelines to get a view of the madness.  The winner won the prize of a new boat, and the top 10 won between $9,000 and $2,000 pesos.  From pictures, it looks like some of the fish that are caught are as big as 5 feet.  This wasn´t your average weekend fishing trip, that´s for sure.  Three months of anticipation has been building up (for me), so of course we couldn´t miss out on such a treat.  I´m sending pictures of it.  I got really excited when I saw a camper on the back of a truck.  It brought back some great memories of Race Weekend at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Well, for all of you followers, I´m on on page 397 in the Book of Mormon.  I hope I am keeping pace with you, Challengers.  I really liked the topic of your talk Dad; the small things that we do in our daily lives.  It just so happens that I´ve been thinking about that a lot recently.  Alma 37:6-7 is one of my favorites.  Also, 1 Samuel 16:7.  It definitely gives you a confident buster when you are faced with a big challenge in life.
