La Familia Mia,
Quiero decirles que les amo bestante.. Oh.. sorry.. this one is supposed to be in English. My B. Thanks for all of the updates!
Biggest find of the week: A Frisbee. Ohh yeah. Things just got a little more interesting.
It rained a lot this week. Twice. I love walking in the rain. Especially, when every road that you walk on is made of dirt. Lakes magically spring up in the middle of what was once a busy intersection. Corrientes is perfectly flat. If you ask me, the drainage system isn´t quite up to par. Thus, the large congregations of water everywhere. It gets especially exciting when you are the owner of shoes that have no grip because the soles are completely worn down. (The hole in my left provides an excellent entrance and exit for the water.) I´m slightly convinced that metal roofs were invented to distress missionaries. If you recall, we don´t really ever ¨knock,¨ per say, on doors. We clap. Have you ever been in a house (that has a metal roof) while it is raining? Yeah...good luck hearing a wimpy clapper outside your door. But other than that, I love the rain. It sure beats the heat.
Yesterday, we had District Conference. I´ve been so accustomed to seeing 20 people in Church, that seeing a chapel full of 100+ people nearly sent me into shock. It was a very spiritual experience. We heard many great talks on Family Home Evening, The Spirit, Regular Scripture Study, and others. Sister Heyman gave a great talk on the Light that we can share with others. The made the point that light and darkness cannot occupy the same space at the same time. We must be examples through everything. We can´t mix the ¨light¨ and the ¨darkness.¨
Alma 48:17. Just Do It.
I love you all lots.
